Giant Steps Toronto/York Region is looking for volunteers to work at Bingo World Richmond Hill (350 Newkirk Rd. in Richmond Hill).

You must be 18+. The requirement is one 2.5 hr evening shift approximately every 2 months. Our sessions are usually on Tuesday evenings, but occasionally other sessions are offered (different times or days). This is an ongoing volunteer opportunity.
Volunteers have the option to receive a $50 honorarium per shift.

Before starting this volunteer opportunity, you would be expected to do approximately 30 minutes of orientation (online presentation and reading materials), as well as shadow a current volunteer for one session.
A Giant Steps t-shirt would be provided to you which must be worn during your shift.
Working with one other volunteer, you will be representing Giant Steps as the charity that is being supported that particular evening. You will simply need to be courteous and friendly to the patrons, assist them if required by answering gaming questions or directing them to the appropriate bingo world employee, any duties if requested.
You will be required to stand for most of your shift.
