Hike for Hospice Planning Committee Member

Hike for Hospice raises awareness and funds for Doane House Hospice and Margaret Bahen Hospice.  The Hospices provide support to people living with a life threatening illness from diagnosis to end of life.

As a member of the Hike Hospice Planning Committee, you will have the opportunity to work with others to plan our annual Hike for Hospice, one of our signature fundraising events.

The Planning Committee Member will attend biweekly Committee meetings and assist with organizing the event, recruiting event participants, marketing the event, and soliciting donations and sponsors.

Skills and experience that would be an asset in this position are event planning and/or fundraising experience, flexibility, self-motivation, strong communication and active listening skills, and knowledge of community resources.

Orientation and training about hospice services and the role is provided.
