Donor Relations Volunteer

The Alzheimer Society of York Region offers support, education, navigation and DAY programs to people impacted by dementia.

We are seeking a committed and experienced Donor Relations Volunteer to join our fund development team and help us in our fundraising efforts.

Hours: 1 or 2 days a week (4 hours per shift/Flexible)

Type of Position: Onsite, Aurora office

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support with the entry of donations in the Raiser’s Edge donor database.
  • Regularly update donation/donor information in the database.
  • Print and send tax receipts, gift acknowledgements, and tribute cards to donors.
  • Assist with mailing direct mail appeal letters to donors and other production related activities.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (Listening, oral, and written).
  • Experience in an administrative support role.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft office applications.
  • Able and willing to easily receive and follow instructions, policies, and procedures.

  • Proof of full COVID vaccination
