Job Description:

Be a Bingo volunteer and Ambassador to CAYR Community Connections. Attend a two-hour session at the Bingo Hall, help customers with products, keep the space clean, and be present with creating awareness of CAYR. You will be working with one other CAYR Bingo volunteer

Responsibilities include:

• Customer Service– assist Bingo Hall patrons when needed.
• Dress Code– you will be supplied with a CAYR t-shirt and name tag
• Fundraising– Be a CAYR Ambassador, represent our organization, promote awareness, and answer any questions. Proceeds of the sessions you attend go to CAYR Programs that benefit our Clients and Service Users
• Report– Communicate to Operations Manger (in a timely fashion) if you cannot attend your shift
• Attendance– Be at your shift on time, for the duration, and dressed appropriately
• Training– a Bingo online training will be provided and must be completed. It will be followed by shadowing a more regular CAYR volunteer at your first in-person session

Required Skills:

• Good communication skills
• Reliability and commitment to your shift
• Work Independently from CAYR but together with Bingo staff and patrons
