Making art is therapeutic. It can help us process grief and find ways to cope with the death of a loved one. To help, Doane House Hospice in Newmarket is launching a new Art Cafe. It’s a free, casual, after school drop-in for youth (ages 14 – 18) experiencing grief and loss.

This session coincides with a PA Day for high school students in York Region.

Join us to make anything from our wide variety of art materials or try one of our pre-planned art therapy projects. No artistic skill is necessary!

Join us for some light refreshments and a whole lot of free art-making.
