PalCare Presents:  Death Cafe

A Death Cafe, is a group directed discussion of death, with no agenda, objectives or themes.  It is a discussion group, not a support group or counselling session.

It’s a respectful, life affirming, thought provoking conversation about a topic that is often shied away from.

PalCare has been offering education in York Region and beyond for over 30 years, to allied health professionals, PSW’s and volunteers, and is funded in part by the Ontario Health.  PalCare delivers over 100 education sessions annually in palliative care, end of life care, caregiver support, self-care and wellness as well as grief & bereavement, reaching more than 2000 participants.  Since 2020, Palcare has welcomed many participants from across the province due to our interactive workshops.
