The Town of Aurora will be hosting a fall Cleanup Day event to help keep our community litter-free.

The cleanup day will take place on Saturday, September 16 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Grab your family, friends and community groups and participate in this great community event.

You can participate by following the steps below:

1. Register to participate here
2. Choose a public park, greenspace or trail to clean (target locations listed below)
3. Pickup your cleanup kit, while supplies last at Aurora Town Park from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
4. Follow the safety tips provided in your kit
5. When you are finished, leave your garbage bags at the location you have cleaned up (curbside and accessible for GFL to collect).
6. All recycling bags must be brought back to Town Park (large blue bins will be on site to dispose)
7. Tag us in your before and after photos on Facebook @townofaurora and using the hashtag #auroracleanup.

   • Old Bloomington Road
   • St. John’s Sideroad
   • All storm water management ponds
