Guidelines: Submit your bird lists/sightings or your eBird.org or Nature Counts lists via email to outreach@oakridgesmoraine.org . Please include the region you saw them (general areas e.g. York Region, Ontario, San Diego, California etc.). If you have any photos, we would be happy to see them too!
- Please submit your bird observations that occurred between JUNE 10th to JUNE 24th (12am-11:59pm) only.
- CHEATERS NEVER PROSPER! Please play fair and only count observations that have actually been observed during the event period. The main objective of this event is to support citizen science.
- While birding, please stay safe, follow health and safety guidelines, do not trespass, and watch for outdoor risks and hazards.
- Lastly, let the birds and wildlife be! You are entering their home, so do not disturb and remember to leave no trace. Nesting birds need their space and respect, it is already a stressful time for them. Ethical birding is essential!
