Would you like to help with the sewing of Memory Bears? These are designed using loved one’s articles of clothing with a pattern and material being provided. Sewing can be done in your own home and is perfect for those who have the ability to follow a sewing pattern and work independently within a completion deadline.

28 years of Hope and Healing as a community hospice Doane House Hospice (DHH) has been serving the communities of North Aurora, Newmarket, Bradford and East Gwillimbury. Our volunteers are the cornerstone of the organisation and we appreciate every one of them. DHH is a community hospice, we are a volunteer based charity that provides free services and programs for those coping with life-threatening illnesses, to care givers looking after a loved one, and those who are bereaved. These services can include: Wellness classes, In-Home visiting, the Oasis Day Program, Complimentary Therapies, Caregiver Support Groups, Art Therapy for children & adults and Bereavement Support. www.doanehospice.org. In the fall of 2017 we welcome the Margaret Bahen Residential Hospice, with the two hospices partnering we will now offer continuum of care for the community.
